Fur Life

FUR LIFE follows the story of Briar, a young woman who finds a stray kitten abandoned in an alley. As she comforts the vulnerable animal, she meets Kasper, a boy from her class. Together, they bond over their shared compassion for the kitten and reveal personal struggles—Kasper with his fears about coming out and Briar with the loss of her mother. Through their connection, they find solace and strength in each other’s company, both offering emotional support as they care for the kitten. Just as their friendship deepens, the kitten’s mother reappears, symbolizing the hope and healing they have found. As they watch the reunion, Briar and Kasper walk away, filled with a sense of solidarity and a renewed belief in the power of compassion.
